OpenOpen

Terms of Service

Last updated: October 29, 2026

Draft under legal review. OpenOpen is in early access and this document may change before launch.

These Terms are an agreement between you and OpenOpen, operated by its owner as a sole proprietorship based in California ("OpenOpen", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using OpenOpen, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. What OpenOpen is

OpenOpen is software that helps service businesses take bookings, communicate with customers and get paid. OpenOpen is a tool, not a party to any job. Businesses, not OpenOpen, provide the services, set their prices and are responsible for their work. We do not employ, endorse or guarantee any business.

2. Accounts

3. Businesses

4. Customers

5. Payments and fees

Payments in OpenOpen are processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms. Businesses connect their own Stripe account and receive payouts from Stripe. OpenOpen's fees and limits are shown in the app before you are charged. Customers are not charged OpenOpen fees or surcharges. Prepaid OpenOpen credit can only be used in OpenOpen; it can't be transferred or cashed out.

6. Text messages

By signing up, you agree to receive texts from OpenOpen at your mobile number: sign-in codes and messages about your bookings (confirmations, reminders, receipts). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop booking texts, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

7. Things you may not do

8. Reviews and content

Reviews can only be left after a completed booking and must be honest. You keep ownership of what you post, and you let OpenOpen display it to run the service. We may remove content that breaks these Terms.

9. Suspension and ending your account

You can close your account at any time. We may warn, limit, suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or put others at risk, and you can appeal by emailing support@startopenopen.com.

10. Disclaimers

OpenOpen is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not promise it will always be available or error-free, and we are not responsible for the work, conduct or payments of businesses or customers.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, OpenOpen is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid OpenOpen in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if greater.

12. Disputes and governing law

California law governs these Terms. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California, unless the law requires otherwise. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve it.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and tell you about important changes in the app or by text. Using OpenOpen after changes means you accept them.
